It may be in a basement but the designers have done wonders to create a comfortable atmosphere with cool clean décor complemented by eclectic additions including chesterfield sofas and a bowler hat bedecked hat stand.

Of particular delight are two cellar rooms with curved ceilings and comfy cushions and pillows which can be hired out for groups of up to 10 – they even have their own TVs and DVDs making them perfect for a film or TV night.

DJs feature during the evening, but this isn’t a full on disco bar. The emphasis is on good times, a good atmosphere and very good drinks, whether from the cocktail menu (including marvelous mojitos and brilliant bellinis) or more traditional beers and wine.
